How a move works

Answer a few questions.

Tell us what you use now and what you want brought across. Only your name and email are required.

We reply with a plan.

It lists each kind of record you want moved and where it comes from.

We bring your records across.

Families, students, classes, terms, tutors and invoice history, as the plan sets out.

You start in Atrium.

Your staff sign in, check what came across, and a setup checklist on your home page shows anything still to add.

Import your student list

  2. Three things per student

First name, last name and email. Phone, year level and preferred name come too.

  3. Check before you import

Validate only checks every row and changes nothing.

  4. Good rows come in

Any row that fails is listed with the field to fix.

Questions about switching

Where can our records come from?

Paper, spreadsheets, another system or something you built. The questionnaire asks which.

Can we keep our old system running?

Yes. Run this term from it while your records come across.

How long does a move take?

It depends on how many records you have and where they live now, so the plan comes first.

How do we set Atrium up?

A setup checklist on your home page walks you through terms, courses, tutors, classes, students and enrolments, in order.

Who owns our records once they move?

Your centre does. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.

What happens to your records

Can we take our records with us later?

Yes. Ask for a copy through the contact page before you leave.
